Cheryl Thomas is and attorney and has recently returned to Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights as the Director of the Women’s Human Rights Program.  Cheryl was the former Executive Director of WATCH and the founding director of the Women’s Human Rights Program at Minnesota Advocates.  She was an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School from 1996 through 2000, where she taught courses on women’s human rights.  After receiving her law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1983, she practiced law at the Minnesota Attorney General’s office and at the law firm, Briggs and Morgan. 

 

This is the twelfth in a series of lunchtime speakers dedicated to improving awareness of women’s human rights issues.  We are pleased to announce plans to continue the lecture series in 2003.
